Our mission is to help women perfect in spiritual maturity, through education, encouragement, exaltation, and evangelism, that they may be equipped for the work of the ministry.

Christian Youth Connection
The mission of CYC is to strengthen and supply the youth with ideas that will promote well-rounded individuals spiritually, emotionally, socially, physically, and morally. We aim to involve them in activities, and arm them with biblical principles that will enable them to grow. We strive to anchor them in God, to the church, to each other, and to other spiritually filled young people.

CYC Scholarship Fund
It is our purpose to seek to enhance high education opportunities among our qualified graduates. The awards are given to recognize and encourage our youth to pursue higher education and strive for a spirit of excellence.
Method of Selection:
1. All entries will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee.
2. The scholarship recipient will be chosen based on their adherence to the following rules:
Rules For Scholarship Applicants:
Applicant must be a senior in high school.
Applicant must have recommendations; Teacher, Principal, Pastor, and/or CYC Director.
Applicant must be in good character.
Applicant must be accepted to a two or four year college or technical school.
Applicant must be a member of the church.

Intercessory Prayer
A group of dedicated Christians who are willing to fight against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places [Eph. 6:12] with Spiritual warfare prayer and the help of The Holy Spirit. These individuals are always in constant prayer for the ministry, the vision, the community, and the entire Body of Christ.

Music Ministry
Make a Joyful noise unto the Lord! Psalms 66:1
The music ministry encompasses all areas including praise and worship singers, instrumentalists, ensembles, soloists and choirs.
The Music Ministry's Objectives:
- Primarily and most importantly, to lift up the name of Jesus
- To lead and inspire the congregation through worship and praise
- To prepare the hearts of the people to receive the preached Word
- To create an atmosphere that is conducive to the moving of the Holy Ghost
- To follow, support, and enhance the vision and ministry of our pastor, Bishop Allen H. Simmons

Praise and Worship Team, Inspirational Choir, Mass Choir, Sounds of Brotherhood, Sisters of Power, Sounds of Pentecost, and Sunbeams (Children's Choir).

Spirit of Praise Dance Team
A jubilant group of young people who enjoy worshipping God in a creative way. This ministry allows people to express their adoration for God through dance. The Spirit of Praise Dance Ministry promotes the development and growth of praise and worship expression through anointed dance. The group humbly submits their bodies as living vessels and temples of the Holy Spirit and use the holy expression of dance to minister to others.

Children's Church
This ministry is designed to meet the spiritual and special needs of the little people in the church.
New Bethel recognizes the need to spend quality time with the children to share with them on their level the good news of Jesus Christ. The primary focus and goal remains to have every youth of New Bethel involved in the ministry. Every week we offer your child the opportunity to learn about God and we help you by reinforcing the values you are instilling in your child's life.

Media Ministry
The goal of the media ministry is to communicate the gospel that is being brought forth at New Bethel in a clear and creative manner. The group serves by producing CD's and tapes of the worship services for distribution and to broadcast through the airways, providing quality sound system effects to enhance our worship experiences, by publishing newsletters, flyers and website updates to relay church messages to those near and far. Tutoring/Mentoring
During the school year, tutoring services are offered to those students who may need help in a school subject. The tutoring sessions are held every Tuesday evening from 6pm - 7pm. All persons interested must call to arrange a session in advance. (843) 875-4564

Ushers
This is an AWESOME ministry if you have a heart for serving and helping others. Ushers help to promote an atmosphere where all those entering the church will feel welcomed, to meet the needs of the congregation during service, assist all other ministries and to keep any distractions to a minimum.

This group cares for the needs of our pastors and leaders. Generally, this group is available to assist the pastors as particular needs arise. (Galatians 6:10)

Prison Ministry
The prison ministry's primary goal is to win and rededicate souls to Christ and to provide spiritual support. We believe through Christ that every man and woman is redeemable, no matter what they have done or where they have come from. The prison ministry reaches out in order to reconstruct and to bring hope to what seems a hopeless situation.

The hospitality ministry was created to show our visiting saints and ministers how much we appreciate their being with us. This is a group of people that love to show love. The ministry of hospitality takes good care of the guests to create an overall positive guest experience.

Sisters of all ages getting together to discuss life's issues by applying the word of God. An outlet to release, knowing that the strictest confidence among all of us can be trusted, and problems in your life prayed for with you, by people that love you.
